Thank you for all your feedback on my 2nd most recent post. You guys are wonderful and you all have great words of wisdom. I’ll try to stop fretting over artistic niches and just do what makes me happy, AND NOT CARE WHAT OTHERS THINK!!

It’ll be hard work to stay in that mindset, but I’m trying. Thanks again and I love you guys. I really don’t say it enough ;o;

Whoa whoa whoa, guys!! 

I’m sorry if I came off sounding like “OH I HATE MY ARTTT and there’s nothing you can do about it!!!!” I’ve been going through an insanely long art block, sure, but I know my art isn’t entirely crap.

What really bothers me most is that I haven’t found an artistic niche to fit into. Some of my classmates have already reached that point, so they know what they want to do after graduation (comics, concept art, etc). I’m not saying ALL my classmates are getting hired with jobs magically, haha. 

Me, I’m still trying to figure it all out—what should I be doing, who my audience is, what I enjoy making most, etc. Looking back on this problem, maybe it’s not all bad. A recent grad told me that figuring out your niche AFTER college can be an adventure too. Unfortunately, not comparing myself to others is the hardest step. Hopefully after I graduate, away from art school, this’ll be a little easier to do. Most importantly, I just gotta keep making art, right? Even when I think I can’t.

I’m so bad with words. I’m sorry. Thank you for all the encouragement though. You all are incredibly supportive and I’m sorry I fail to realize that. I love you guys.

I watched the first episode when the series debuted and then I never watched the rest. Looks like I got homework to do ~~

I’ve been incredibly drained of inspiration maybe it’s from senioritis, who knows. Regardless, I’d like to know what you’ve all seen lately that’s been inspiring to you. Finding a starting point feels like a challenge, so I thought “why not ask the masses?” :U
